letting go
sitting here in silence
by myself
i feel my heart
it's beat
inside my chest
my stomach
my toes
and i feel you
your hands
your cheeks
your tears
your heart
beating with mine
your blood intermingles
with mine
and we become one
you spread through my body
you travel through my veins
to parts of me
not even i was aware of
i feel you everywhere
i am not with you
and i never will be again
but you are a part of me
i cannot extract
the you
from me
